Superimposed tinglings like two star charts laid one on top of the other - balloon in an autotune to play violence - a travel memory rescued from a hard drive and then a computer flaw - a vocal duet over a prison wall and across social galaxies for a geopolitics of the impossible - the chimera of a present without a future, all in restless suspension.

Jihem Rita, aka Johann Mazé, is a drummer and percussionist who handles voice and electronics as he can. He plays in bands with France Sauvage, Elg et la Chimie and Furax. He has also been a member of Cercle des Mallissimalistes, Lord Rectangle, Chausse Trappe, Ensemble Un, Nouvelles Impressions d'Afrique, La STPO and Brutal 10w..

Jihem Rita is Johann Mazé's solo project, also known for having extensively toured as a polyrhythmic noise drum soloist.
This upcoming album gives an insight to their tentacular explorations in textures and progressively evolving hypnotic songscapes investigated as Jihem Rita.
Johann Mazé and Èl G, having collaborated with them on this release, will also be part of Third Type Tape's double release party at Brasseries Illegaal in Brussels, the 28th of October 2023.
